Academy of Medicine

The Academy, an outstanding example of Neoclassic architecture, is on the National Register of Historic Places. It was designed by renowned architect Philip Shutze and completed in 1941 as the home of the Medical Association of Atlanta, then the Fulton County Medical Society. The Academy, nearly 60 years old, was placed on the National Register of Historic Places due to its beautiful composition and neoclassic architecture. Atlanta’s Academy of Medicine is available for weddings, receptions, corporate meetings and events, community lectures or seminars, concerts, and social gatherings for use year round.



AMA Atlanta Executive Conference Center

Square ft:  The Atlanta Executive Conference Center is state-of-the-art and is comprised of 13 comfortable executive meeting rooms that range in size from 154 to 2640 square feet.

Occupancy: Can accommodate meetings up to 175 participants and is designed to meet all the meeting, training and conference needs of today’s busy business professionals.




The AMA Atlanta Executive Conference Center is conveniently located in Midtown Atlanta’s Proscenium Office Building on the corner of Peachtree and 14th Street. The Art and Cultural district of Atlanta, offers world-class hotels, fine dining, cultural art venues and many options for parking all within walking distance of the AMA Center.

If it’s a party you want…ART Station has the space. The rehearsal hall can even be converted into a disco dance room. If you just need a place to hold a meeting, or have a wedding, baby shower, or small birthday party, our small conference room makes the perfect setting with beautiful art work on the walls and the room sets just under the historic loft where electricity was generated for the Trolley Car Lines.



Atlanta Botanical Gardens Robinson Gazebo

Overlooking Atlanta's midtown skyline and Piedmont Park, the Robinson Gazebo is adjacent to the Fuqua Orchid Center. This location is rented only for ceremonies. Regretfully it cannot be rented for receptions.



Atlanta Botanical Gardens Day Hall

Day Hall is the Atlanta Botanical Garden's largest event space available for diverse needs, from business conferences to receptions. It is a lovely, high-ceilinged ballroom of muted organic colors, floor-to-ceiling windows and sophisticated lighting. West doors open into Cox Courtyard while East doors lead onto the (partially covered) Lanier Terrace, just steps down to the Parterre Garden. A large stainless steel catering kitchen adjoins the Hall.



Atlanta Botanical Gardens Garden House Workshop

GardenHouse Workshop is located on the lower level of GardenHouse, the familiar admissions/administration building. This area has been completely renovated, including carpeting, paint, lighting and art work. Access by elevator or stairs.



Atlanta Botanical Gardens Georgia Pacific Classroom

The Georgia-Pacific Classroom is a spacious, glass-walled room floored with stone pavers. It is located in the one-of-a-kind Center for Conservation and Education, which is attached to the Fuqua Orchid Center. Included in the rental is the lobby, a glass-walled reception area, with plants and benches. A warming kitchen is located across the hall, making the room perfect for working lunches or informal buffets.



Atlanta Botanical Gardens Mershon Hall

Mershon Hall (formerly known as Exhibit Hall) is a beautiful, classical new building, with elegant lighting, bamboo floors, modern craftsman interior design and double Palladian doors leading outside. The main room is adjacent to a catering kitchen. The space is ideal for groups of 60 seated or 90 standing. An elevator or stairs can take guests to marble restrooms. West doors lead onto the award-winning Parterre Garden, winner of the Urban Design Commission 2003 Award for Landscape Design, filled with colorful flowers 12 months a year.



Atlanta Botanical Gardens Orchid Center

Choose the Fuqua Orchid Center for the most exclusive events. There is no more beautiful or unique environment in the entire city! The "Gardens Under Glass" are filled with fragrant, blooming orchids from around the world. East doors lead out to the Robinson Gazebo, an outdoor but roofed facility, which overlooks Piedmont Park with the gorgeous downtown Atlanta skyline as its backdrop. This magnificent gazebo is included in the rental of the Orchid Center.



Atlanta Botanical Gardens Rose Garden

The Rose Garden is a favorite site for wedding/commitment ceremonies. Bridal white is breathtaking against the green lawn and brilliant roses. The Rose Garden may be tented. This location is rented for ceremonies only. Regretfully, it cannot be rented for receptions.



Atlanta Botanical Gardens Trustees' Garden

The Trustees' Garden is a formal, walled, secret garden with four classical pavilions at the corners. A beautiful balustrade laces along the entrance, creating a gorgeous vista over the winter garden. This formal garden is accessible via the Flower Bridge. Currently the Trustees' Garden is available only during Atlanta Botanical Garden business hours.

The thrilling Cyclorama allows visitors to step back to July 22, 1864 and experience the Battle of Atlanta. Callanwolde is one of the most photographed locations in Atlanta. Built in 1920 as the home of Charles Howard Candler, eldest son of Coca-Cola founder Asa Candler, the 27,000 square foot Gothic-Tudor style mansion has been featured in books, television and motion pictures, and has hosted hundreds of weddings, galas and private events over the years. The Callanwolde mansion is available for special events rental by individuals or organizations for weddings, wedding receptions, cultural tours, convention and corporate luncheons, corporate receptions, marketing and promotional events, educational seminars and training sessions, still and motion picture filming, and private social events.

Your guests will feel as if they have stepped into a garden wonderland filled with flowers and manicured lawns located in Historic Druid Hills. Cator Woolford Gardens are filled with masses of seasonal flowers in all colors of the rainbow. The intensity of the colors change with the season. In spring, pink and white dogwoods, purple hyacinths and azaleas of every color surround you. In summer, the delicate scent of roses waft on the breeze and the masses of colors excite your senses. In the fall, the leaves of gold and yellow match perfectly with the fall flowers.

The Great Hall atrium features dramatic lighting, a view into natural woodlands from the Fernbank Forest Overlook and a breathtaking glass ceiling that soars 86 feet above the world’s largest dinosaurs. The Great Hall provides an enchanting setting that takes a cue from the brilliance of daylight or the glow of the moon. A white spiral staircase, lofty columns, light brick archways and fossil-filled limestone floors add neutral, yet spectacular, touches to your event while allowing an open palette for personalizing your décor. Rental of the Great Hall includes Museum tables and chairs, and offers use of the Lobby and outdoor Terrace, which can be used for a cocktail hour or other set-up, at no additional charge.

The Fernbank Café provides various options to meet your event needs. Elegant draping can create a pre-function staging area for cocktail hour or an intimate event space. We also provide you with the option of using either the Frank Gehry furnishings or the Museum’s special event tables and chairs. Rental of The Fernbank Café includes use of the Lobby and Terrace (Saturday – Thursday evenings).
